Research

Neurofeedback is a methodology which started its development in the nineteen-sixties, and with improved computing power and technology, has seen its progress speed up significantly during the last decade.  See the History of Neurofeedback here.

Modern neurofeedback methods are not only based on addressing the four core frequency bands, but extend further to infra-low frequencies (ILF) which target areas of the brain concerned with the pre-conscious regulation of our organism.

Supporting research is provided in hyperlinks on the respective ‘Uses’ pages, and are sourced substantially from publications in the US National Library of Medicine, National Center for Biotechnology Information.

A search of ‘neurofeedback’ on www.pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov shows over 2,000 research articles.
